A52 closures at major junction as next phase of roadworks set to begin
Some closures and diversions at a major Nottinghamshire junction have been announced as phase three of improvements on the A52 are set to take place. National Highways have announced that a series of full late-night road closures will be put in place at the end of July and the beginning of August so that junction improvements on the A52 at Gamston roundabout can be completed.
Road closures on July 30 and July 31 The closure will begin at 8pm each evening and the carriageway will be re-opened by 6am the following morning at the latest.Road users travelling eastbound on the A52 Radcliffe Road from the Stragglethorpe Road junction will be invited to join the A46 at the Saxondale roundabout, before driving south to Widmerpool, following the A606 Melton Road and then re-joining the A52 Gamston Lings Bar Road at the Wheatcroft roundabout.
