The 57-year-old radio presenter died following a short illness.
Classic FM radio presenter Jamie Crick has sadly died aged 57. The tragic news was announced by his family, who said he passed away on Tuesday, just hours after he hosted his last ever radio show.
They added: "He was also a great friend to his colleagues at Jazz FM, Scala Radio and the wider Bauer Media teams. He will be sorely missed by them all, along with his friends and listeners. During his career, Jamie also hosted shows on Scala Radio and helped to launch the UK's first LGBTQ+ radio station back in 2001 named Gayday Radio before joining Bauer Media UK’s Jazz FM in 2014.
