You can't say fairer than that

The cost of living crisis has stopped many people eating out this year. According to a YouGov survey in May, 39 percent of people have cut spending on restaurant visits.

However, a Nottingham restaurant is targeting bargain hunters looking for an "absolute steal." Bella Italia, the Italian chain which has a restaurant at the Cornerhouse in Forman Street, is offering a 12in margherita pizza for £5 this month. There's no catch and no voucher is needed. The normal cost is £10.59. The limited-time offer is available all day, from Monday to Wednesday, throughout November. The sourdough pizza, topped with tomato, mozzarella and basil, can also be customised to suit a wide range of dietary needs including the go lighter, vegan and gluten-free options. For a couple of extra pounds, diners can personalise their pizzas with additional toppings, including meatballs, chilli pearls, mushrooms, chicken, red onion, ‘nduja and pepperoni.
