The authority has refused to publish it in full
Nottingham City Council has so far spent more than £65,000 on a damning financial report which it is refusing to publish in full. Accounting firm Ernst and Young published its assessment of financial controls at the city council earlier this year.
But despite sharing a summary of EY's report, Nottingham City Council has not yet chosen to publish it in full. Councillor David Mellen, the Leader of the Labour-led authority, recently claimed that even he had not seen the report in full.A Freedom of Information request has now revealed Nottingham City Council has paid EY £65,545 so far for its report.
