Christmas is around the corner - here's how you can save money
When it comes to Christmas shopping - whether it's gifts for your loved ones or the food shop - everyone wants to make sure they get the most bang for their buck. And even more so now due to the current cost of living crisis.
Though don't shop five minutes before closing time as the items won't be there if you go looking as often staff will have cleared the shelf, if for example it runs out on today's date, so it can be processed as waste as it is illegal to sell anything past their use by date. However if you shop anywhere after 6pm - and perhaps closer to 7pm in some cases - the items will likely be significantly reduced anywhere between 75 per cent and 95 per cent in a bid to avoid waste. So this is perhaps the best time to go if you really want a time.
Christmas begins on the week commencing December 19 with Christmas Eve falling on a Saturday and the big day on Sunday. Try the supermarkets own products Whilst the yellow stickers can be a massive help, you may not always find a bargain and if you do, it might not be a suitable product for you.
