The chilling tale is comes to the Playhouse in the city centre just in time for the festive season
The Woman in Black will be at the Liverpool Playhouse in December. Adapted by Stephen Mallatratt, Susan Hill’s best-selling novel tells the story of a lawyer Arthur Kipps, played by Malcolm James obsessed with a curse that he believes has been cast over his family by the spectre of a ‘Woman in Black’.
It was also adapted into a film starring Harry Potter's Daniel Radcliffe in 2012. This version of the play is directed by Robin Herford, with designs by Michael Holt and lighting by Kevin Sleep, it promises to immerse the audience in a world of unrelenting fear and suspense as they follow the journey of Arthur Kipps and the enigmatic Woman in Black.
