The family of Chris Kaba told mourners that they will continue to fight for justice for"all other brothers, and cousins and uncles."HUNDREDS OF mourners gathered for the funeral of an unarmed man who was shot dead by armed police.
Speaking at the funeral service his cousin, Jefferson Bosela, said: “I’m praying that we get justice because Chris isn’t here, but we’re still here and we can keep fighting for him.Writing on Instagram Mr Bosela said: “Today we laid a King to rest.“Thank you for all the good times.” ❤️Mr Kaba’s parent’s, Helen and Prosper, were also in attendance at the service which saw emotional tributes paid to the father-to-be.
In a statement released at the time, Assistant commissioner Amanda Pearson said: “Following the death of Chris Kaba, the firearms officer involved has been suspended from duty.
