He was rushed to hospital
The eight-year-old boy was struck on Garrioch Road in the city's Maryhill shortly after midday on Monday.
Cops and paramedics were called to the scene where it is understood the road was closed following the incident.The driver of the car was not injured.spokesperson said: “Around 12.05 pm on Monday, July 17, 2023, police received a report of a crash involving a car and an 8-year-old male pedestrian on Garrioch Road near Stratford Street, Glasgow.
“The boy was taken by ambulance to the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital, Glasgow, where medical staff describe his condition as serious but stable.
