Date published: Thursday 27th April 2023 6:40 -Former Crystal Palace chairman Simon Jordan thinks Chelsea are “destroying” Frank Lampard’s reputation after another defeat in the Premier League.
Lampard is in caretaker charge until the end of the season when widespread rumours claim former Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino will be appointed as their new head coach. And Jordan reckons Pochettino needs to be appointed now “rather than wasting time allowing the rot to set in” under Lampard.: “Well if you’ve made your mind up about Pochettino, and that’s the decision that you’ve made because you know my views are slightly different to others about the outcome that Pochettino will bring.
“I would want to stop it in it’s tracks and go, ‘right OK, pivot’. This is what best people do, and no doubt Boehly, given the economic position he’s put himself in, will find the levels.
