Chelsea have confirmed Christopher Nkunku will be out for an 'extended period' after undergoing knee surgery.in the Blues' pre-season draw against Borussia Dortmund in Chicago at the start of August.
The summer signing picked up the problem against Dortmund last week, the France international was taken off after just 22 minutes at Soldier Field.He tried to play on, but was unable to continue, with boss Mauricio Pochettino immediately stating he ishave confirmed that the player is set for a lengthy spell on the sidelines.
