A judge today paid tribute to the women after evidence of their ordeals led to the 42-year-old being put behind bars.Faulds was later charged before being freed on bail.

But, despite the court order, he then struck again, targeting a second woman at another flat in the town on July 8, 2021.Sex predator Faulds appeared via video link for sentencing at the High Court in Glasgow today. "It was patently obvious to you that each was in an extremely vulnerable position and unable to consent. "Neither of them wanted any type of relationship with you. Each was in fact in a relationship with another person at the time."He told Faulds:"Each is eloquent of a woman devastated by these events and describe long term and psychological damage caused by you.Faulds, formerly of Renfrew, was also put on the sex offenders list.His lawyer Donna Armstrong said he had previously been employed in army catering.
