Four-month-old Teale had been exploring when she found herself trapped in the vent hole for a tumble dryer on Tuesday afternoon.
After being unable to free her, the pup’s worried owners called the Cumbria Fire and Rescue Service who raced to the property in Longtown, just south of the Scottish border.
Thankfully crews from Carlisle East Fire Station were able to quickly free her unharmed and were rewarded with licks for their heroic efforts. Sharing pictures of the pooch’s rescue on Facebook, the station said: “At 16.15pm, Carlisle East were mobilised to a property in Longtown, to reports of a young dog with its head stuck in a wall.
“In attendance, the crew were greeted by a mischievous 4 month old labrador puppy called Teale, who had found herself in a predicament by getting her head stuck in an extractor vent for a tumble dryer, and was feeling very sorry for herself. “Fortunately crews managed to remove Teale with minimal fuss using small tools, and she was no worse for wear for her ordeal.Teale’s antics left social media users in stitches. Lorraine Barnes wrote: “So funny. Labs are a laugh a minute.
