The pair were charged as part of the investigation into the alleged murder of Anthony Wootton, who was found dead in a car park on 17 July. Julie Allie, 37, of Armstrong Close, remains accused of perverting the course of justice and assisting an offender.Mr Wootton was found dead in Gresley Close, Woodside almost four months ago. A post-mortem examination revealed the 41-year-old had suffered an abdominal injury.He is due at Stafford Crown Court on 13 November with a trial expected to begin on 8 January.
