The Celtic ultras group the Green Brigade have unveiled a banner in support of Palestine during the Parkhead side’s Scottish Premiership clash with Kilmarnock.

It comes on the day fighting escalated in the Middle East with Palestinian group Hamas launching an attack on Israel which killed at least 40. And in retaliation, Gaza say at least 198 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli air attacks. A section of the Celtic support have consistently shown their support to the Palestinian cause and they have shown that again with their latest banners. At the North Curve section 111 of Parkhead, where the Green Brigade are situated, two large banners were unveiled. The first read ‘Free Palestine’ with second saying ‘Victory To The Resistance!!’. And they were surrounded by Palestinian flags.
