A dad who tragically lost his football fan son aged 24 in the aftermath of a horrific car crash has spoken of his struggles to visit Celtic Park since the tragedy

Gerard had been a fan of the Glasgow giants since childhood and was a regular at Celtic Park with his dad. As well as his love of the Hoops, Gerard, a joiner, was also a motor enthusiast. "I watched him grow from a boy into a lovely young man. He enjoyed his football and cars, that was his life. I was a massive fan but have not been as much into it since Gerard passed away because it is something we did together. It was our time together.
