Officers have started the process of identifying those involved in the violence.
Police are hunting football fans involved in disorder outside Hampden Park on the morning of the Scottish League Cup final.
The force has said it is fortunate that no one was "seriously injured" in the violence that was directed at each other and also officers.No arrests could be made at the time but an investigation has since been launched into the incident with officers now beginning the process of identifying those involved.
“Officers acted swiftly in challenging circumstances to deal with what amounted to totally unacceptable behaviour. It was fortunate that no one was seriously injured.
