Celebrating 161 Years of Galgate Horticultural Society in Garstang
Held at Ellel Village Hall, from 2pm - 5pm, the event will display all the entries from children and adults of flowers, fruit, vegetables, preserves, baking, art, handicrafts and photographs.
The annual event will also have a demonstration from Lune Valley Community Beekeepers, a colouring competition and a display about Galgate in the World Wars. The show is said to have ‘something for everyone’ as there will also be a stand showing photographs of Old and New Galgate, a stall of garden curiosities for sale, an auction of exhibited produce followed by a raffle.
