Presenter John Kay pointed out the issue but Carol didn't back down
BBC Breakfast weather presenter Carol Kirkwood made an unusual choice during a recent report and despite being called out by presenter Jon Kay she wasn't backing down. During Tuesday's segment of the morning show, the 61-year-old weather presenter shared a picture of perfect blue skies, the Mirror reports.
Carol continued with the segment, unaware of what Jon was referring to, saying: "It is. It's beautiful. I am looking at the sky, of course, Jon. I don't know what you're looking at.' But Jon was quick to respond that he 'wasn't looking at the sky.'However, what Carol failed to notice was that the image also featured a line of portable toilets. She said: "I didn't notice that when I pulled it in, unfortunately.
