A woman has been found dead after going out on a bike ride
. Rachel Jackson was found on March 31, a day after she was reported missing.
An inquest held at Preston Coroner's Court heard how Rachel was worried about a letter she had received from HMRC and had 'not been her best' since returning from a holiday in Barcelona. Lancashire Live reports Rachel stayed with Lucy that night, and spent the following day laughing and joking with her young nephew.
At 3pm the next day, Rachel's bike was discovered in a wooded area. Her body was found a short distance away, in dense woodland. Det Insp Simon Gray confirmed there was no evidence of any criminal or third party involvement in Rachel's death. "Rachel talked about mental health when she visited but it was often like she was wearing a mask", Lucy said.
