The Olympian was driving with her one-year-old son when she was involved in a seven-car collision.
Canadian figure skater Alexandra Paul died in a multi-vehicle crash in the province of Ontario last Tuesday. She was 31.
Her one-year-old son Charlie was also in the car and was later hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries,in a statement issued on Friday, where they celebrated the ice dancer’s life and “illustrious career”.
