Paul McColl doesn't understand why the referee put on so many extra minutes
Cambuslang Rangers Paul McColl is baffled as to why referee Thomas Denholm added 13 minutes of stoppage time to their 2-1 derby defeat at Rutherglen Glencairn on Saturday.
Camby were 5-0 down on their way to a 7-0 defeat at Petershill in the Scottish Junior Cup first round a fortnight ago, so to be on level terms for most of the second half was a marked improvement. “We could have snatched it at the end, Dylan could have snatched it, but it has probably fell to the wrong guy.”
“Glencairn have won the game and it’s disappointing, but we were on a wee bad run and that gives us a wee bit of hope, because we got scudded last week.
