The day nursery is closed by inspectors after two visits by the education watchdog.
The Cambridge Day Nursery on Milton Road, Cambridge, was visited by inspectors on Tuesday and it closed the following day.
It was told it had to "improve risk assessment procedures and take action to minimise or remove hazards, so that children are not exposed to unnecessary risk". Ofsted told the BBC it inspected the nursery on Tuesday and suspended the provider on Wednesday due to concerns around safeguarding and safety.
