Accommodation seems to be the most costly factor, as guests spend £81 on average – whereas those in the bridal party put in up to £98 for a weekend wedding.But, overall, it’s significantly more if you’re playing a role in the wedding. Overall, attending pre-wedding events and the actual day itself as a bridal party member can cost up to a whopping total of £1,459 – £200 more than the average wedding guest .give up almost 90 hours helping to plan and take part in wedding-related events, which would earn them a whopping £1,381 as a bridesmaid for hire.
