A British tourist has died while reportedly hiking on a Spanish island.
Police discovered the body of the 39-year-old woman in a mountainous area of the Canary Island of Fuerteventura.
It was confirmed overnight that she was a holidaymaker from the UK, but she is yet to be named by authorities. Emergency responders confirmed the discovery in a short statement, saying the alarm had been raised at 12.48pm local time yesterday.
