Whovians are very excited about this!

A Nottingham pub has turned into an out-of-this-world experience for Doctor Who fans thanks to a life-size Tardis - and a landlord whose father was a Time Lord. The Bath Inn, in Sneinton, is run by Piers Wheatcroft Baker, whose father Tom Baker played the fourth incarnation of the Doctor in the BBC science fiction TV programme from 1974 to 1981.

"Can you imagine," said Piers, "I was quite shocked but didn't want to show it. I waited for the young lady to introduce herself whereupon she said she was the Doctor and I said ' how nice to see you again." "There has been an amazing response. People seem to love it. I see groups of people taking photos of it every day. It looks wonderful at night when it's lit up, surrounded by 30 hanging baskets. It looks pretty spectacular. You can see the sign as soon as you turn the corner into Sneinton Marketplace.

"People really appreciate the fact that this little corner of Sneinton has really been revitalised with the colourful hanging baskets and now Julia's beautiful artwork."
