There were smiles all round on Thursday as Bridgnorth Endowed’s Year 11 students collected their long-awaited GCSE results, which saw the return to pre-pandemic grading.

Rhys Saunders chalked up an impressive four 9s, three 8s and two 7s and has his sights set on going to flight school and even becoming an astronaut, after taking A-levels in Maths, Further Maths, Physics and Biology at King Edward’s. Twin sisters, Evie and Mollie Fair, are enjoying double exam success, which will take them to King Edward’s where they are both taking A-levels in Biology, Chemistry and Maths with the aim of going into medicine and veterinary science respectively.
