Wreck actor James Phoon is one of the Netflix series' newcomers.
"It was super-exciting, actually," he said."I was in the Tate Modern, right before I got the tape. It was when they were setting up for the premiere for season 2. I remember seeing it, and making a comment, like, 'Maybe I’ll have a chance to audition for season 3'.
"I'd just changed agents and stuff. I think two or three weeks later, the tape came through, and then maybe another two or three weeks after that is when I finally got cast. It was all a real whirlwind, being cast in it. "But I was such a huge fan of the show anyway. It was a project that I'd spoken to my agent about originally when I signed with her in terms of its representation, especially when it comes to race.
