The Celtic camp don't have Viaplay Cup action to worry about after being knocked about by Killie last month.

The spirits are high within the Celtic camp after seeing off Livingston at the weekend, and even sin binned Joe Hart is in the mood.

The former England international was sent off for the first time in his storied career at the Tony Macaroni arena when he clattered in to a Lions forward on 28 minutes after Celtic had opened the lead through a Reo Hatate spot-kick. It was no doubt from referee John Beaton who brandished the red card before VAR could have no complaints. It means the 36-year-old will miss Saturday's trip to face in-form Motherwell with Scott Bain and Benji Siegrist vying for a rare chance between the sticks.

Brendan Rodgers side then must take on Lazio under the lights at Celtic Park in the Champions League after a dismal defeat in Feyenoord with ill-discipline aplenty left the Hoops rooted to the bottom of the group after match day one. But the Irishman has spirits high within his squad as a clip shared to the official Celtic account gave a glimpse in to preparations for facing Motherwell.

Rodgers arrives at the training facility and immediately gets his Duolingo skills out with skipper Callum McGregor in stitches as he declares 'Good morgen hausen' before striding up to the Scotland international who can't help but smile and laugh. A further clip shows Alistair and Mikey Johnston clearing up the difference between their names with both laughing away.

Hart, who won't be in action at the weekend, then tells the cameramen to ensure they catch the next training drill of him stopping shots. He says in to the lens: "Get this next set, it's going to be goalkeeping poetry," before making a number of saves.
