Mason Greenwood has agreed to join Getafe on a season-long loan, according to reports.
Mason Greenwood has agreed to join Getafe on a season-long loan, Manchester United have confirmed.
The 21-year-old has been the subject of an internal investigation by the club after he had charges of attempted rape, assault and controlling behaviour dropped by the Crown Prosecution Service in February. When announcing the decision on Greenwood’s future, United said in a statement: “All those involved, including Mason, recognise the difficulties with him recommencing his career at Manchester United.“It has therefore been mutually agreed that it would be most appropriate for him to do so away from Old Trafford, and we will now work with Mason to achieve that outcome.”
