Plans for new terrace at home of Derry City FC would 'exacerbate' existing problems, say NI Water
A new stand that could nearly double the capacity of the Brandywell Stadium in Derry could run afoul of an inadequate sewer network in the area if developers can't find a way to deal with "foul flow", it has emerged.
But NI Water have raised formal concerns about the ability of the sewer network to cope, with a number of documents submitted to an ongoing consultation. The spokesperson expressed hope the problems could be overcome, and insisted NI Water is supportive of the stadium development.
