Peter Thompson was last seen in the Botchergate area on Tuesday, September 5, and also has links to west Cumbria

Concerns have been raised over the well-being of Peter Thompson. The 16-year-old was last seen in the Botchergate area of the Carlisle on Tuesday .

Officers say he also has links to west Cumbria so 'may be in that part of the count'. Peter is described as 5ft 7ins tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and is clean shaven.He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black trainers. Today the force released a picture of Peter on social media as part of an appeal to locate him.

A Cumbria Police spokesperson said: "Police are appealing for sightings of a teenage boy missing from Carlisle. Peter Thompson, 16, was last seen in the Botchergate area of the city yesterday. "Peter has links to west Cumbria so may be in that part of the county. He is 5ft 7ins tall, with brown hair, brown eyes and is clean shaven.

"He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black trainers. Anyone who sees Peter is asked to contact police on 101.
