The collision happened on Pringle Street on Wednesday evening and the road was closed for nearly two hours
Emergency services were called to the incident on Pringle Street in Blackburn shortly after 6.30pm last night . Lancashire Constabulary said officers attended and found that a car had been in collision with a pedestrian.
The boy was taken to hospital for treatment and no details have been released on the nature or severity of his injuries. LancsLive has contacted North West Ambulance Service for comment.Pringle Street was closed between Bennington Street and Queen's Park Road for nearly two hours. It reopened at around 8.30pm.
In a statement, a police spokesprson told LancsLive: "We were called at 6.37pm yesterday to Pringle Street, Blackburn, to a report of a road traffic collision. Officers attended and found that a car had been in collision with a pedestrian - a four-year-old boy.
