A second teenager has been charged in connection with the attempted theft of a motorbike from outside a supermarket in Stockport.
He has now been charged with has been charged with robbery; attempted robbery; going equipped for theft; attempted theft of a motorbike; resisting arrest; and driving offences, Greater Manchester Police said.The charges relate to the alleged Hazel Grove incident, as well as the alleged attempted theft of a motorbike in Cheadle Hulme in July and an alleged attempted robbery in Reddish in August, the force said. He was due to appear at Tameside Magistrates Court today .
An investigation into the alleged attempted theft is ongoing. Detective Inspector Michael Jimenez said: "We still need information about Saturday's incident. Anyone who witnessed it or was in the area at the time and has dashcam footage should contact police on 101 or via email to [email protected] quoting Operation Mass.
