U2 singer Bono pays bookshop unexpected visit before show
Bono bought "a massive pile of books" after staff helped him find what he was looking for, Ms Legerton said
Jo Legerton, who works at Manchester's Chorlton Bookshop, said she thought it was "a hoax" when someone rang to say Bono would be visiting on Saturday. Ms Legerton said she jokingly asked if he had a desire to do Christmas shifts at the shop, but he sadly declined.
