An earlier report on Monday has been rubbished. Boehly and Clearlake remain in full support of Graham Potter at Chelsea.
Date published: Monday 27th February 2023 7:19 -The Chelsea owners remain in full support of manager Graham Potter and contrary to reports will not make a decision on his future based on their next two games against Leeds and Borussia Dortmund.
The Blues take on Leeds at Stamford Bridge on Saturday before Borussia Dortmund arrive in west London on Tuesday with a 1-0 advantage from the first leg of their Champions League tie. The report states that they are aware of the difficulty in adding so many new players to the squad and ‘their ambition from early in this poor sequence of results has been to give Potter next summer to benefit from a pre-season, a recalibration of the squad and the addition of the forward Christopher Nkunku from RB Leipzig’.
