The body of a 41-year-old was recovered from the water
Emergency services were called to the River Ythan, near to Riverside Road in Ellon, around 6am on Tuesday to reports of a body being found.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the man's death and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal. A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “We were made aware of the body of a 41-year-old man found in the River Ythan near to Riverside Road in Ellon around 6am on Tuesday, 25 July. “The body has been recovered.
