Emergency services have rushed to a Scots beach after the body of a man was discovered on Thursday afternoon.

Police were made aware of the grim discovery at a beach near Prestonpans High Street, East Lothian, around 1.20pm. Officers remain at the scene this afternoon and crews from the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service also responded to the incident.
