Mark Goldie's family have been informed after the discovery was made in Carrick Forest, near Loch Doon in South Ayrshire, on Wednesday afternoon.
A body has been found in Carrick Forest near Loch Doon during the police search for missing camper Mark Goldie.Police Scotland say that while formal identification has yet to take place, the family of the missing 51-year-old have been informed of the tragic find.
A statement from Police Scotland said: “The body of a man has been found within Carrick Forest near Loch Doon around 3.55pm on Wednesday, 9 November, 2022.
