A body has been discovered during the search for a missing Scots woman who was last seen walking her dogs.
The discovery was made near Burnfoot in Hawick, Scottish Borders, at around 2pm on Wednesday, August 2. Trimby, 55, was reported missing on Tuesday, August 1, and was last spotted walking her dogs on Chay Blyth Place in the Borders town. It’s believed she left her house later that evening and didn’t return.A spokesperson for the force said: "Around 2pm on Wednesday, August 2, the body of a woman was found near Burnfoot, Hawick. Although the woman has yet to be formally identified, the family of Jacqueline Trimby, missing from Hawick since yesterday, has been informed.
