Daniel McLaughlin, 74, was reported missing from his home in Donegal in early July.

A body found at a Scots port has been identified as a missing Irish pensioner last seen 124 miles away.

Following DNA analysis by Police Scotland, the pensioner’s identity has now been confirmed and the missing person search stood down.
