Neighbours were left frightened after a man covered in blood and wearing underwear burst onto the street and screamed for help. A body was later discovered at a nearby property.
A fearful neighbour told how a man covered in blood and only wearing underwear was seen screaming for help in a Lanark street hours before a body was found by police.
It has since been confirmed that detectives are treating the death as suspicous and they are following a positive line of enquiry. A resident living on the street was shocked when she saw a man covered in blood burst onto the street and begin shouting for help before emergency services were called, reports the Record.
"There must have been a commotion. My motion cameras picked up activity outside through the night. When I woke up and looked out the window, there were police all over the street and a house was cordoned off." "This is normally a really quiet street and I have four kids I send out to play all the time. This makes me think twice.
