A 43-year-old man has also been arrested
A teenager allegedly caught carrying a handgun and a sword is among two people charged over a burglary in Blackpool.
Lancashire Police were called to a house on Braithwaite Street on Sunday morning amid reports of a robbery. An investigation was launched and a man and a boy have been arrested. The 17-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is due to appear at Youth Court in Blackpool today to face three charges. These include robbery, possession of the weapons. A 43-year-old man was also arrested and remains in custody at this time.A spokesperson for Lancashire Constabulary said: "We were called at 10.28am on July 9 to an address in Braithwaite Street, to a report of burglary. Officers attended and began an investigation.
"A 17-year-old was arrested and has been charged with robbery, possession of a bladed article and possession of a firearm with intent. He has been remanded to appear before Blackpool Youth Court today.
