Car parks and valid on-street spaces further out, such as those close to Bloomfield Road and at each end of the lights at Starr Gate and Bispham are usually quieter. Also, it may be worth looking at public transport options such as bus, tram or train in and out of Blackpool in the evenings, as an alternative way to travel and experience the famous lights. You can also chance your luck at finding an on-street parking space, but they often have time-limits and a no-return policy. Traffic wardens regularly patrol the busiest areas.
