Inspectors from Blackpool Council visited the hotel on December 9 of last year and looked at aspects of the guesthouse

Major improvement was deemed necessary in the management of food safety. This means that there were serious issues found with the system or checks in place to ensure that food sold or served is safe to eat, evidence that staff know about food safety, and the food safety officer has confidence that standards will be maintained in future.
The hygienic handling of food, including how food is prepared, cooked, re-heated, cooled and stored. was also found to need improvement.
