It's more like a Chinese curry sauce.
One person responded: "It's onion. A curry sauce isn't really what you'd call a curry. It's delicious though. Dip your chips in and smile. Possibly...bread and butter with chips and dip in." A third person said that this was normal and not just something that comes from Blackpool. They responded: "That's normal. Not a local, from Leeds and this curry sauce is pretty common and in Scarborough and Skegness it is too so I assume it is in blackpool."
