Speaking about exploring anxiety and mental health in the show, Billie admitted: ‘I can never work out whether it’s a release or a relief or whether I’m making it worse from playing [Suzie], because at the end of the last two times we’ve shot, I Hate Suzie, I always feel pretty rattled by the process.
‘I guess there’s relief when you see other people connecting with it but the making of it is anxiety inducing.’: ‘The truth is, I don’t look after myself. I’m not thinking about my self care during filming hours because otherwise I wouldn’t film because it’s not conducive to a healthy life. ‘And I really don’t wanna sell people this story and push this messaging that in some way I have this, you know, snappy little version of life and work and I’ve got that down because I really don’t have that down.‘I don’t, it all slightly falls apart.’
