The countdown is well and truly on to this weekend's Coronation of King Charles and preparations are well underway for celebrations across the UK.
Dozens of big screens will show Saturday’s coronation, allowing tens of thousands of people to watch. Some will also be showing Sunday’s coronation concert. In Northern Ireland, around 15,000 people will be able to view the coronation on public screens. Here's where you can head to watch the event across the country:Belfast Belfast’s City Hall will broadcast the ceremony to 2,000 people.
Ballymena Ballymena ’s People’s Park will broadcast the ceremony and have capacity to host 1,000 people.Carrickfergus Carrickfergus’s Marine Gardens will broadcast the ceremony and have capacity to host 1,000 people.Co Armagh Bessbrook Town Hall will broadcast the ceremony and have capacity to host 400 people.Newtownabbey Newtownabbey’s Jordanstown Loughshore Park will broadcast the ceremony and have capacity to host 3,000 people.
