Residents near Lambs Lane Primary School have raised safety concerns to Wokingham Borough Council.
Heavy vehicles could be banned from driving past a primary school after residents raised safety concerns.
Under plans set to be considered by Wokingham Borough Council, vehicles over 7.5 tonnes will be banned from driving down Back Lane.Council documents said neighbours had complained about large vehicles, including from Lambs Lane Business Park, driving towards the A33.Councillor Paul Fishwick, responsible for highways, is set to make a decision about the new rule on Tuesday.
A report by council officers said: "The aim of this restriction would be to address the concerns raised by the residents and promote safer traffic flow in the area. "The initial consultation was conducted with local residents and Thames Valley Police, who supported any practical measures that would make it safer for children attending Lambs Lane Primary School."
