Hundreds of beers will be on sale - including for the first time, one that's alcohol free
It's time to say cheers and raise a glass to the biggest event in the beer lovers' calendar. The finishing touches are putting put to Nottingham's Robin Hood Beer and Cider Festival 2023, organised by Nottingham's Campaign for Real Ale .
In addition, the Craft Beer bar will have a range of rare keykeg beers lined up, some of which have never been seen in the city before. Around 18 keykeg beers will be on sale at any one time under the Bridgford Road stand. As one runs out it will be replaced by another of a similar style. Drinkers can choose from more than 200 ciders and perries with a strong presence from local producers including Torkard Cider, Two Shires, and Farmer Fear Cider. A wide selection of vegan beers will be on offer, and for the first time ever, an alcohol-free draught beer will be available - Edinburgh brewery Brulo's Lust for Life.
Visitors are advised to buy advance tickets from beerfestival.nottinghamcamra.org. While it will be possible to buy tickets from the Trent Bridge Box Office on the day, there may be queues at peak times if the event is full.
