Asked which pro dancer she wanted to be paired with, the TV presenter - who also hosts a chat show in Ireland - said: "You know what, I think they're all unbelievable. "I think generally the producers get it right. I'm 5ft6in - it might narrow down the choices. I'll take whatever I get at this stage."
Strictly fans gave her announcement a warm reception. One wrote: "My favourite so far. So pleased she is on it. She will be great and so entertaining."
